Big events this month, big big events!

SO. Tonight at approximatedly 5:30pm I will be in a classroom taking the first half of my GED test until 10:00. Tomorrow the second half. I’m way way excited. Furthermore, I finally got my Power 90 in the mail and will be starting it thursday! (I put it off for a couple days because I didn’t want to be sore for my test.) FURTHERMORE, I went to a meeting at the Paul Mitchell beauty school here in michigan and  finally have the money put together to submit my application and get enrolled in the June class which starts on the 29th. The course is a little less than a year long after which I will be able to do makeup, nails, hair cutting and styling, and skin care among many other things. I am -so- excited. A new life and a new body! In a year I plan on being a totally different person than I am right now and I can hardly wait to start. I just wanted to share that with everybody for no particular reason. Wish me luck ladies and gents! I’ll tell you how the test went when I get home. My boss was nice enough to give me both days off of work so I could get ready.

Oh, and the baby has a checkup on the 9th. :)

Getting Started

SO, I’ve decided to get started with all this. My first goals are this 1) To wear the pedometer i got for christmas every single day and to record the amount of steps I’ve taken (so that I can convert it to mileage for the july 4th goal). My second goal is to start drinking more water (my good ole 8 glasses a day).

Yeah, I know, so it’s small goals but better to start small goals I can achieve than to start some crazy goal like ‘I’m going to run a whole mile in 10 minutes’ and then feel bad because I couldn’t accomplish it. I kind of figure that if I start out with small goals it’ll motivate me more when I reach them so that I’m feeling up to par for the bigger challenges later on. Lol, Maybe my logic is a moot point, but it works for me. :)

Anyways, I’m doing this because I figure if I know how many steps I take during my normal daily routine, I know where my average is and then I can increase it. Since your body gets used to a certain kind of exercise you end up on a plateau and the only way to keep the graph going UP is if you INCREASE what you’re already doing! …Haha, flashback to geography. :P

Hope you ladies are having  a good day, I ended up waking up at 6 am this morning and went to work only to find that I had to be there at 7 PM, not 7 AM, so I think I may go snooze for a bit. Toodles~
